1. Oran

It is in the M’zab Valley and consists of 5 settlements (some say 7) that were 1000 years ago. Each city has its own social order to safeguard the safety and well-being of its citizens. 5. Djanet

8. Djemila
Djemila, a true competitor to Timgad, provides an distinct setting. This Roman colony was created around lush hillsides to house retired Roman troops. Djemila, known as Cuicul, has a theatre, historical market, temples, basilicas, and a few dwellings. The museum here features a tiny plan of the city so you may get a sense of its design before you arrive. There are also some amazing mosaics here that were dug from the ruins to prevent further damage.
9. Martyrs’ Memorial
One of the top places to see in Algeria is the Martyrs’ Memorial Monument on the outer edges of Algiers. This is one of the things to do in Algiers if you go to one site during your vacation. Above the Hamma Plantation and the National Fine Art Museum (Le Musee National Des Beaux-Arts) stands the Martyrs’ Memorial. Between the Botanical Garden and the Martyr’s Memorial, the National Museum of Fine Arts is an obvious stop. I’m not a big art buff, so the view from the rooftop balcony is the most stunning thing here for me. Even if you’re not a fan among art, seeing it from the balcony is worth a visit as one of the many things to do in Algiers.
